Lens manufacturer 7Artisans announced the arrival of the 12mm F/2.8 II lens. The second generation of its 12mm lens brings updates in the design and performance sectors.

Overall the body design which is made of metal remains very compact and light. Its weight is only about 301 grams. Classified as light for the wide angle lens category. So, it is ideal for mirrorless cameras with compact bodies.
Behind the body design are 12 lens elements in 10 groups with 5 diaphragm blades. With this optical formula at an aperture of F2.8, users are claimed to be able to get a bokeh effect on a smoother background subject. In addition, the sharpness of the image is also better and less distortion.
This lens will be available for camera mounts with APS-C sensors such as the Nikon Z, EOS-M, EOS-R, Sony E and Fuji X-mount. In addition, it is also available for Panasonic cameras with MFT (Micro Four Third) sensors.
