The lens collection from the manufacturer 7Artisans for users of Leica rangefinder cameras has increased. The newest lens is the M 35mm F/2 Mark II.

Features of the 7Artisans M 35mm F/2 Mark II

According to 7Artisans , compared to its first generation the M 35mm F/2 Mark II comes with an updated design and optical design. This manual focus lens carries a design of eight lens elements in seven groups. Meanwhile, the first generation only seven lens elements in five groups.

For setting the aperture is also different. The second generation allows setting the aperture from F/2 to F/22. In its first generation, only up to F/16.

Meanwhile, in the design sector the M 35mm F/2 Mark II now appears more minimalist with the addition of red elements to make it look less monotonous. Previously, the first generation only used a red and white color combination.
