Some time ago, Acer Indonesia officially introduced its newest line of convertible laptops through the Acer Aspire Spin Series. Of the two options offered, the Acer Aspire 5 Spin 14 is a more attractive offer, thanks to the support of the Wacom AES standard stylus and the latest 13th Gen Intel ® Core ™ processors.
Convertible laptops themselves offer more diverse usage scenarios. With a screen that can be opened and rotated 360 degrees backwards, there are several modes that can be utilized. Starting from conventional laptop mode, tent mode which hides the keyboard part, to tablet mode to fully enjoy the screen. The Acer Aspire 5 Spin 4 is here to meet the needs of its various users, from productivity to entertainment.
Different from the previous generation, Acer decided to merge the name of its convertible laptop series into the Spin line. In an offline opportunity (24/3), Mathius John Tirtawirya as Acer Indonesia’s Consumer Product Manager explained that the Aspire line is more familiar and recognizable to its users. That way, now the series is more effective.
Acer Aspire 5 Spin 14 Stylus Made More Accurate

As a laptop equipped with a built-in stylus, the design of the Acer Aspire 5 Spin 14 is quite portable. The thickness itself reaches 17.9mm, while the total weight of 1.6 kilograms is still not too heavy to be carried anywhere. The material of the laptop feels sturdy—quite important for a device with more screen flexibility than conventional laptops.
Regarding the screen, the Acer Aspire 5 Spin 14 has a 14-inch screen with a 1200p resolution and a 16:10 ratio, more suitable for multitasking. Using an IPS panel type, the screen already supports touch input, using either a finger or a built-in stylus—stored directly on the body, as well as for automatic charging.

The default stylus of the Acer Aspire 5 Spin 14 itself is quite special, it is called Active Stylus 2.0 and has the Wacom AES standard. With support for 4096 touch levels and a high 266Hz report rate, users can take advantage of the multi pen & tilt detection feature for higher input accuracy, even up to a 55 degree tilt.
Regarding the stylus itself, Mathius said that this stylus was included in the sales package. If there is damage or loss, you can get it back at the Acer service center line that has spread throughout Indonesia. In the purchase package, Acer has also included Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Frecso licenses for 1 year, with a value of up to USD $99,99. Apart from the Windows 11 & Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 license, of course.
Available in Two Processor Options

The performance of the Acer Aspire 5 Spin 14 is supported by the latest processor options from Intel, namely Intel ® Core ™ i5-1335U and Intel ® Core ™ i7-1355U with a combination of Intel ® Iris ® X e Graphics GPU . Both are equipped with 16GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of SSD PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage. That is, the only difference is the processor.
Of course, this laptop is also supported by the hardware needed for a modern work system. Call it a full HD webcam with Acer Temporal Noise Reduction, or Acer PurifiedVoice to reduce ambient noise using AI. Regarding the duration of use, the Acer Aspire 5 Spin 14 battery is claimed to last up to 14 hours.
Charging this laptop can be done via one of two USB-C ports which already have the Thunderbolt 4 standard. In addition, a USB-A port is also provided, including full-size HDMI, as well as Killer Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 support.
The price for the Acer Aspire 5 Spin is USD $799,99 (Core i5) & USD $966,99 (Core i7). In addition to the number of digital licenses mentioned above, consumers will also get a warranty period for 1 year spare parts & 3 years of service.
