Acer recently presented a projector called the Acer BS-320P. Aimed at supporting entertainment at home, Acer promises consumers can get an experience like watching in a cinema. What are the features like?

Features of the Acer BS-320P

The Acer BS-320P is claimed to be ideal for minimalist residential concepts that don’t want a TV because it takes up a lot of space. Interestingly, the projector can still be used in a room with bright enough light conditions, even with a non-white background.

According to Acer, the BS-320P has a brightness level of up to 4,000 ANSI Lumens and a contrast ratio of 20,000:1 Dynamic Black. There is also the Acer Lumisense feature which can adjust image brightness and color saturation based on the content being viewed.

Most interestingly, this projector supports the DLP 3D Ready feature which allows users to display content in 3D format. Later users only need to use additional accessories in the form of 3D glasses to be able to enjoy 3D entertainment at home.

In addition, Acer also embedded the BlueLightShield feature to protect the eyes from fatigue. This technology can help reduce blue light exposure by up to 30 percent. Meanwhile, Acer Color Safe II technology is claimed to be able to produce a consistent, natural color display and can control RGB levels dynamically, thus preventing the effect of fading or yellowing colors.

The Acer BS-320P is also equipped with a built-in 3W speaker. Available output and input ports include HDMI, Audio In/Out, VGA In/Out, RS232 (D-sub), USB Ctrl (Mini-B) and power socket.

Price and availability

For those who are interested, the Acer BS-320P projector can be obtained through online sales at the Acer eStore price of IDR 6,150,000 (or arround USD $392).
