Success with the Acer Chromebook 514 which was launched last October, Acer has now announced the Chromebook Spin 513. This latest 2-in-1 convertible Chromebook comes with a chipset from the manufacturer Mediatek in the kitchen sector.
Features of Acer Chromebook Spin 513
The difference is, the Acer Chromebook Spin 513 comes with the MTK kompanio 1380 chipset. This chipset is an octacore chipset. The performance is more powerful when compared to the MTK Kompanio 828 used in the previous Acer Chromebook 514.
In addition to improvements in the kitchen sector, the Chromebook Spin 513 is even more attractive with a tougher body design. This convertible 2-in-1 Chromebook carries a thin and light aluminum body design. It weighs only about 1.29 kg. For its toughness the Chromebook Spin 513 complies with the MIL-STD 810H military standard.

In the screen sector, the Chromebook Spin 513 comes with a 13.5-inch touch screen panel. The resolution is 2256 x 1504 pixels. With a 3:2 screen aspect ratio, the screen display is now also up to 18% wider than a standard laptop with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
One thing that is quite unfortunate about the Chromebook Spin 513 is the storage space that still uses eMMC. Not yet SSD which has now become the standard of storage space on laptops. For eMMC storage space available from 32GB to 128GB.
