Through the next@acer global press conference , Acer introduced a line of its newest generation of gaming laptops for 2023. One of them is the Acer Predator Helio Neo 16, which offers a powerful hardware composition to bulldoze a variety of today’s AAA games, but is sold at a more affordable price.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 specifications
In a press release, Friday (28/4), Acer explained that the Predator Helios Neo 16 is armed with a 13th Generation Intel Core HX processor paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card with a maximum graphics power of 140W.
Gamers are also presented with up to 32 GB of dual-channel DDR5-4800MHz RAM, as well as storage in the form of PCIe NVMe SSD up to 2 TB RAID 0. According to Acer, this combination will provide faster loading times even in heavy games.
The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 looks cool with a solid black cover and decorated with an encrypted code engraved with a laser. To keep temperatures safe, the Predator Helios Neo 16 relies on a sophisticated cooling system with AeroBlade fan technology and liquid metal thermal paste on the CPU.
The screen carries an IPS panel with WQXGA or 2560 x 1600 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 3ms response time. There is also another variant with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 165Hz display that supports 100% sRGB. Both of these options are supported by Nvidia Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC.
Regarding connectivity, there are Intel Killer E2600 Ethernet and Intel Killer WiFi 6 AX1650. Available ports include 2X USB 3.2 Gen2, 1X USB 3.2 Gen1, 2X Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and a card reader.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 price
There is no information about the price of the Predator Helios Neo 16 in Indonesia yet. Even so, in North America this gaming laptop is sold at prices starting at US $ 1199 and can be purchased starting in May 2023.
