Currently, the use of OLED screens on laptops is increasingly massive. One of the OLED sailing laptops available on the market is the Acer Swift 3 OLED.

The advantage of using an OLED screen is of course from serving brighter and sharper colors. Visuals feel more pampered and are very suitable for you who need a laptop with a high-quality screen.

Besides the presence of an OLED screen, this laptop is also supported by 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors that are ready to provide the latest performance. The Acer Swift 3 OLED is in our hands and here is the review for you who are curious about our impressions of the Swift 3 OLED.

Maximum with Intel® Core™ i5-12500H Processor

For those who are curious about its performance, the Intel® Core™ i5-12500H Processor fills the kitchen spur. This processor is made using a new architecture. The new architecture used by Intel® is called hybrid. This makes the processor have cores divided into Performance (P Core) and Efficiency (E Core), so that the workload can be divided and multitasking can run more smoothly.

This processor has a total of 12 cores which are divided into 4 P-cores and 8 E-cores. The total threads reach 16 and the highest frequency can penetrate 4.50 GHz. For matters of graphics, Intel® Iris® X e Graphics is entrusted . Other performance support comes from 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and SSD with a capacity of 512GB which in our opinion is quite spacious for storing many applications and files.

Another good news, this laptop already holds the Intel® Evo™ Platform certification which is intended for ultra-thin laptops. This certification guarantees that ultra-thin laptops have high performance, long battery life, fast response, fast charging and instant wake so you don’t have to wait long for this laptop to be ready for use.

We are not surprised that all the tasks carried out on this laptop are very satisfying. From the light ones, such as writing articles, browsing, online meetings, streaming, to the rather heavy ones, such as video editing and playing casual games, they can run smoothly. This laptop is equipped with faster and more stable internet connectivity with the presence of the Intel® Killer™ WiFi 6E feature.

OLED Screen: Clear Image with High Accuracy Color

In our discussion, we will proceed to the part that is the superior feature of the Swift 3 OLED: the screen. This laptop uses an OLED panel which is capable of producing clear image quality, brighter colors and high accuracy. Packing a thin bezel thanks to a screen to body ratio of up to 92%. This makes the screen look wider and the screen design seems more elegant.

The Acer Swift 3 OLED uses a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels WQXGA +. The more complete with support for high color accuracy DCI-P3 100%. The DisplayHDR True Black 500 feature is also embedded and the brightness level reaches 500 nits.

We are really satisfied with the eyes thanks to this OLED screen. The quality of this screen is increasingly felt when you use it to watch YouTube or stream movies, for example. It doesn’t stop there, the screen is also equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, resulting in smooth and fluid image transitions.

To prevent your eyes from getting tired quickly, Acer includes TUV Rheinland certification which can reduce blue light emission and make your eyes more comfortable when using a laptop.

Compact and Elegant Design

The Acer Swift 3 OLED comes with a design worthy of being called concise. The thickness of the body is 17.9mm and the weight is only 1.4 kg. Making the Swift 3 OLED easy to carry around.

Present in two color variants, Steel Gray and Luxury Gold, this laptop has a design that is classified as elegant and premium. Suitable for you professionals who are looking for a laptop that can support their daily life.

The keyboard is designed complete with backlit and fingerprint scanner. While the touchpad is made specifically with environmentally friendly OceanGlass technology. Above the keyboard, an air duct is installed which is an integral part of the laptop cooling system, which contains a new fan with a larger size and dual heat pipes.

Also embedded is a webcam with 1080p resolution which can produce very clear images. For you who often make conference calls, Acer presents Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) technology which is useful for reducing noise.

Conclusion

We found a lot of interesting things in the Acer Swift 3 OLED. Making it worth recommending or making a choice for you who are looking for a laptop with an OLED screen, an ultra-thin laptop or a laptop for professionals.

This laptop is officially released to the market at a price of IDR 13 million for the Intel® Core™ i5-12500H Processor variant. There are also other variants with Intel® Core™ i7-12700H Processor and priced at IDR 16 million. In addition, the Acer Swift 3 OLED is equipped with the Windows 11 Home operating system and the Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 application pre-installed.
