The presence of the Swift 5 (SF514-56T) is not alone. Acer also announced the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512). This laptop can be a cheaper alternative to the Swift 5 in the premium segment.
Features of Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512)
Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512) also brings a thin and light body design. Entering the middle segment, Acer provides two 14-inch screen resolution options, namely Full HD 1080p and QHD 2K. Unfortunately, the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512) hasn’t adopted the 16:10 display panel that is the current trend.
The choice of specifications is also more diverse. The Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512) is available with Intel Core i3-1220P, Intel Core i5-1240P and Intel Core i7-1260P processor options. For storage space, it carries an SSD with a choice of capacities up to 2TB. For the cooling system, Acer embeds TwinAir dual-fan technology which offers an increase in cooling capability of up to 65.8%.
On the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512) users can also find Full HD webcam features with Acer TNR technology for better video calls, 6E WiFi, and speakers with DTS Audio. In addition, there is also a fast refill feature. Charging the battery for 30 minutes can be used up to about 4 hours.
For connectivity, the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512) is not equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port. Instead, there are USB Type-C, USB Type-A and HDMI 2.1 ports.
