Dell adds to its Alienware line of gaming monitors. Two models were announced, the Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) and 27 (AW2723DF). Both of these monitors offer advantages at high refresh rates.

Alienware 25 (AW2523HF)

The Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) and 27 (AW2723DF) come with IPS panels. Not an OLED panel like the Alienware 55 . The Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) is a 24.5-inch panel with Full HD 1080p. The advantage is that the Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) refresh rate is the highest of the two, which is up to 360 Hz. So, it is very suitable for competitive esports games.

For color accuracy Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) supports 99% sRGB and HDR10 color coverage. In addition, this monitor is also equipped with an integrated headset holder. The design of the hexagonal-shaped legs is also very cool.

Alienware 27 (AW2723DF)

Meanwhile, the Alienware 27 (AW2723DF) comes with an IPS panel that measures 27 inches. The screen refresh rate is lower at only 280 Hz. Even so, the Alienware 27 screen resolution (AW2723DF) is higher, namely QHD 1440p. So, the display on the screen will look sharper when compared to the Alienware 27 (AW2723DF) which has Full HD resolution.

Another difference Alienware 27 (AW2723DF) is equipped with an RGB lighting system. The color accuracy of the Alienware 27 (AW2723DF) is also better. The Alienware 27 (AW2723DF) supports the DCI-P3 95% color standard, 100% sRGB and supports the VESA DisplayHDR 600 standard.

Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) and 27 (AW2723DF) prices

The plan Alienware 25 (AW2523HF) will be available first in the market. This monitor will be available in September 2022 for US$450. Meanwhile, the Alienware 27 (AW2723DF) costs US$650 and is available in October 2022.
