Dell officially announced the presence of the Alienware AW3423DWF gaming monitor. This gaming monitor is a cheap version of the Alienware AW3423DW which is already available in the market.
Features of Alienware AW3423DWF
Like the expensive version, the AW3423DWF also carries a curved screen panel. The difference is, as a budget-friendly version, this monitor does not support the Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate feature and a refresh rate of 175 Hz.

Instead Dell provides support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. Another difference is in the design. The body design is thinner. So, it can be more easily attached to the wall. Gamers can also find a small joystick to make it easier to navigate the menu on the screen. For connectivity, only DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports are available. Unfortunately, there is no HDMI 2.1 support yet. So, it will be less than ideal for game consoles like Playstation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.

Switching to the panel, the AW3423DWF brings a 34-inch OLED panel. The panel resolution is 4K 3440 x 1440 pixels with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The curvature of the panel reaches 1800R. Supported by Quantum Dot technology, the panel can present darker blacks and accurate colors. The panel supports the DCI-P3 99.3% color coverage standard. The brightness level can be up to 1000 nits. So, not only for gaming, this monitor can also be relied on for content creation.
Price and availability
The plan is that the Alienware AW3423DWF will be available on the market in the fourth quarter of 2022. The price of the Alienware AW3423DWF is US $1099.
