With the announcement of the AMD Ryzen Mobile 7000 Series , AMD also introduced the Radeon RX 7000 M/S Series discrete GPU . This discrete GPU carries the RDNA 3 graphics technology that AMD introduced last year.

Graphics cards with RDNA 3 architecture are already available for the desktop version. The presence of this mobile version is AMD’s answer to challenging Nvidia’s GeForce discrete graphics card.

RDNA 3 technology itself offers an increase in performance per watt of up to about 50%. According to AMD, the AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series mobile discrete gpu solution is capable of delivering a better increase in gaming performance at Full HD 1080p resolution when compared to the previous AMD Radeon 6000 series.

There are four variants of the Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards announced. Among them, Radeon RX 7600M XT, Radeon RX 7600M, Radeon RX 7700S and Radeon RX 7600S.

The Radeon RX 7600M XT will be the fastest Radeon RX 7000 Series variant with a maximum TDP of 120W. Increased gaming performance at Full HD resolution is offered up to 26% when compared to the previous Radeon RX 6600M. Meanwhile, the Radeon RX 7700S can offer up to 29% better gaming performance when compared to the Radeon RX 6700S.

The improvement also has an impact on other features such as ray tracing, colors, frame rates, artificial intelligence support and longer battery life. In addition, there is support for the FidelityX Super Resolution feature for better frame rates and high-resolution images, as well as AV1 video codec support.

In the future this graphics card will also get a new feature called HYPR-RX. This feature allows gamers to optimize laptop performance by selecting the graphic configuration they want with just one click.
