2019 saw the debut of GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology in a USB-C charger. The first product from Anker is the PowerPort Atom PD1 which has become the smallest USB-C charger in the world. Now, entering the second generation of GaN technology, Anker launched the Nano II Series line.

Anker Nano II Series features

Then what is the difference between the first and the second generation of GaN technology? According to Anker, in the second generation the GaN technology is able to provide a higher level of efficiency.

Carrying the Innoswitch 4 charger chipset, the efficiency increases by 20%. This means that less heat can be generated despite the large power output. In addition, the design can also come with smaller dimensions. Anker Nano II Series feature that is no less interesting is the support for Power IQ 3 technology. This feature allows the Nano II Series to be able to recharge the battery very quickly. Power IQ 3 is also compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge, Power Delivery, Apple Fast Charging, Samsung Fast Charging, and many more.

The Nano II Series will be available with a choice of three models, namely 30W, 45W and 65W. For the 30W model the dimensions are the most compact. With a power output of 30W this charger is ideal for recharging smartphones and tablet PCs. Meanwhile, for refilling laptops and other devices, the 45W and 60W models can be selected.

Price of Anker Nano II Series
