Anker is officially expanding into the world of 3D printing with the announcement of the AnkerMake M5 3D Printer. This first 3D printer brings a series of smart features and is claimed to be easier to use. Even for users who have never used a 3D printer before.

AnkerMake M5 3D Printer Features

The secret, the AnkerMake M5 3D Printer comes with a modular design. So, it can be assembled very easily. According to Anker, the assembly only takes three steps and takes no more than 15 minutes.

The most interesting feature of the AnkerMake M5 3D Printer is its array of smart features. First, this 3D printer is equipped with a camera system that is supported by artificial intelligence. Thanks to this camera, users can monitor print activity remotely through the application on their cellphone. The camera also supports a time-lapse recording feature to record the printing process and share it on social networks. Print activities can also print via a smartphone.

Most importantly, the AnkerMake M5 3D Printer can stop the automatic printing process and send an alert to the user via the application if it detects a print error from the digital blueprint. Very useful for saving and preventing filament material that can be wasted.

In addition, the AnkerMake M5 3D Printer can also detect filament damage and supports the Auto-Save feature. Thanks to the auto-save feature, users don’t have to worry if the lights suddenly go out during the printing process. This feature allows the printing process to be resumed automatically when the power is on.

For its printing capabilities, the AnkerMake M5 3D Printer can print at a speed of 250 mm per second. Five times faster than a typical 3D printer. So, it can save printing time up to about 70%. If not, there is a Turbo mode option that can boost the print speed up to ten times.

Another interesting feature of this 3D printer is that it supports a 7×7 point automatic leveling system and 0.1 mm precision printing capability. This means that the AnkerMake M5 3D Printer can produce prints with a flatter and smoother surface.

AnkerMake M5 3D Printer Price

The AnkerMake M5 3D Printer can now be pre-ordered for US$429. The normal price of the AnkerMake M5 3D Printer is US $499. The plan is that this printer will be available on the market in August 2022.
