In addition to announcing the presence of the iPhone SE (2022), Apple also introduced the latest iPad Air which is equipped with a capable hardware composition. One of the upgrades that can make fans fall in love is the Apple M1 chipset.

iPad Air 2022 Specifications

Armed with the M1, iPad Air 2022 certainly promises super fast performance and at the same time a significant increase compared to the previous generation. Its CPU capability is 60 percent better, while its GPU performance is twice as fast as the 2020 iPad Air.

This 5G (eSIM) device offers a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display that has a brightness level of 500 nits. There is also True Tone support and an anti-reflective coating to ensure users get an eye-catching image.

Another novelty on the iPad Air 2022 is an ultra-wide selfie camera with Center Stage. This feature allows the user to be in the middle of the frame during a video call, and is able to detect when someone else has joined the frame and seamlessly zoom out.

As for the rear camera, Apple has embedded a 12 MP sensor which is more or less the same as the previous generation iPad Air. iPad Air 2022 is also equipped with a USB-C port with data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, stereo speakers, and Touch ID embedded in the home button.

In terms of software, the iPad Air 2022 adopts the iPadOS 15.4 operating system. The OS allows users to enjoy the Universal Control feature for easy working using a mouse and keyboard between Mac and iPad devices. Not to forget, this new tablet also supports Apple Pencil.

iPad Air 2022 price

The iPad Air 2022 is available in Space Gray, Starlight, Pink, Purple, and Blue colors. For those interested, prices start at US$599 for the WiFi only model, and start at US$749 for the 5G+WiFi model.
