Apple has officially announced the presence of the MacBook Pro 2023. This laptop will be the first to use the latest M2 Pro and M2 Max processors.
Features of Apple MacBook Pro 2023
Like the previous generation, the MacBook Pro 2023 will also have two screen options available. The Liquid Retina XDR screens are 14.2 inches and 16.2 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The 14-inch model has a screen resolution of 3024 x 1964 pixels and the 16-inch model has a resolution of 3456 x 2234 pixels.

The most significant update is only in the kitchen, which now uses the M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. For the MacBook Pro 14, the configuration starts from the M2 Pro processor with 10 CPU Cores and 16 GPU Cores. Meanwhile, for the MacBook Pro 16, the configuration starts from the M2 Pro processor with 12 CPUs and 19 GPU cores.
Both will also be available with the M2 Max processor which is the fastest processor in the M2 processor line. Available configurations are up to 12 CPU cores and up to 38 GPU cores. This processor is also supported by unified memory up to 96GB with a memory bandwidth of 400GB/sec.

The Apple MacBook Pro 2023 also brings updates in the connectivity sector. Both of these laptops are equipped with WiFi 6E and an HDMI port that supports external monitors up to 4K or 8K resolution with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. In addition, there are three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an SDXC memory card reader slot, a 3.5mm audio jack and a MagSafe port for recharging batteries.

The Apple MacBook Pro 14 2023 starts at US$1999. Meanwhile, prices for the MacBook Pro 16 2023 start at US$2499.
