Apple Wants to Overhaul iPhone 15 Design

Apple is rumored to be changing the design and marketing strategy for the iPhone 15. This reshuffle was triggered by the unsatisfactory sales of the iPhone 14 Plus.

This information was shared by a tipster named Yeux1122 via social media Naver, as reported by MacRumors and Phone Arena, Wednesday (28/12), which stated that Apple is reviewing the design of the Pro and non-Pro versions of the iPhone 15.

It should be noted that Apple rarely makes design changes for the iPhone. You could say that the iPhone only made minor upgrades or minor changes to the body curve, screen layout and camera module, the rest of the iPhone has a shape that is almost the same as its predecessor series or variants.

The Pro, Plus and Pro Max variants only differ in the dimensions of the iPhone and the screen size. This news was also revealed by Ming-Chi Kuo some time ago.

At least there are two things that Apple is now paying attention to for the iPhone 15. First, they will greatly differentiate the features and specifications on the iPhone Pro and non-Pro. Second, lowering the price on the Plus model, currently the iPhone 14 Plus is sold starting at US$899.

Given that in previous years, Apple will provide a significant difference between the Pro and non-Pro versions of the iPhone or the regular variant. The technology giant from Cupertino has also changed its business strategy for the iPhone 14 series, namely removing the mini model and replacing it with the Plus.

There are also rumors that Apple will make the iPhone 15 Ultra with a more sophisticated design, namely a titanium body and a periscope camera. The iPhone 15 series is expected to use USB Type-C for charging, as a new policy in the European Union.
