Specifications for ASUS ROG Phone 7 Series
In a press release received by Alomaki, Thursday (13/4), it was explained that the ROG Phone 7 Series is armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which promises super fast performance, as well as a new cooling system called GameCool 7.
According to ASUS ROG, this gaming phone can provide a better gaming experience with lower power consumption. The key to power efficiency is the chipset which is 15 percent more energy efficient and the GameCool 7 cooling system which is claimed to be able to maintain low temperatures with an efficiency level of heat dissipation of up to 168 percent.

Specifically for ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, cooling is further enhanced with the AeroActive Portal which will activate automatically when the AeroActive Cooler is installed. When AeroActive Portal is activated, the thermal efficiency of the phone can increase by up to 20%.
ROG Phone 7 Series is equipped with a 165 Hz Samsung AMOLED screen with a 720 Hz touch sampling rate, Delta E<1 color accuracy, and a brightness level of up to 1,500 nits. Especially for the Ultimate series, ASUS added ROG Vision.
These two gaming phones offer LPDDR5X RAM up to 16 GB, and UFS 4.0 storage up to 512 GB capacity. The battery is 6,000 mAh with 65W HyperCharge capability. The photography sector relies on a 50 MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide camera, a 5 MP macro camera, and a 32 MP selfie camera.

Equally interesting, they both have twin 12 x 16 mm front speakers with 50% more effective volume, which will be assisted by a 13 x 38 mm super-linear five-magnet sub-woofer in an AeroActive 7 cooler to increase bass by up to 77 percent.
Regarding audio, gamers are presented with a 3.5 mm headphone jack to Dirac Virtuo For Headphones to produce spatial sound like a theater. There’s also Snapdragon Sound support ensuring high-fidelity, super-low latency Bluetooth audio.
Not to forget there is an AirTrigger ultrasonic control that supports a variety of movements, including Dual Action, Press and Lift, and Gyroscope Aiming. Gamers are also spoiled with 10 motion controls and an X-axis linear motor that provides powerful haptic feedback.

Unfortunately, ASUS doesn’t want to give a leak about when these two gaming phones will launch and how much they will cost. We’ll wait!
