ASUS has announced the ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition gaming laptop . The difference with the original version is in the kitchen runway. ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition is faster with the option of an Intel Core i9-12950HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card.

The Intel Core i9-12950HX processor it carries has a TDP of 65W. Through the Armory Crate application, the processor can be driven up to a speed of 5.2 GHz and a TDP of 175W for a short time when the discrete Nvidia discrete graphics card is disabled. So, it can still be relied on for content creation needs for photo and video editing even without an Nvidia GPU.
Meanwhile, the Nvidia RTX 3080Ti discrete graphics card it carries offers a maximum TGP of up to 175W with Dynamic Boost. The TGP of this graphics card is the highest among all ROG laptops.
