ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) was present at Gamescom 2022 in Cologne, Germany, and held an event titled Have It All. At the event, ASUS ROG showcased the latest AMD X670E motherboard range.

Motherboard ASUS X670E

In his written statement explained, the first product introduced was the ROG Crosshair X670E Gene motherboard. Featuring the microATX form factor, this motherboard features a glossy black and white ROG logo on the integrated I/O shield and a pixelated ROG icon on the chipset heatsink.

There are also RGB LED accents on the VRM heatsink which can be customized with Aura Sync. This AMD X670E motherboard features a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, DDR5 support, two PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, and one PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot. Gen X670E is available for AMD Ryzen 7000 Series desktop processors with massive power solutions and 16+2 teamed power stages rated at 110 amps.

ASUS also doesn’t forget to equip it with a series of connectivity options, including WiFi 6E, Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet, rear USB4 port, front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C header, and Quick Charge 4+ support.

The next motherboard is the ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming WiFi Mini-ITX. Gamers are served a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, a pair of DDR5 DIMM slots, and two M.2 slots that support PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0. The I/O shield is in place, and there’s a single heatsink to cool the M.2 PCIe 5.0 slot and chipset simultaneously.

While the VRM temperature is helped cooled by a wide backplate that uses thermal pads to transfer heat from the capacitor. The space-saving ROG FPS-II card gives you easy access to front panel headers, 2 SATA ports, essential headers for Clear CMOS and enabling CPU overvoltage, and PCIe mode switch for older devices.

While the ASUS ProArt X670E-Creator WiFi appears in unobtrusive colors and as the name implies is intended for creators. This motherboard has two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and four onboard M.2 slots, two of which are connected using PCIe 5.0.

No less interesting, the ProArt X670E-Creator WiFi offers a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 connector on the front panel with support for Quick Charge 4+. The combination of this motherboard with a case featuring a front panel USB Type-C port provides easy access to 60 watts of charging.

In addition to the motherboards above, there is also a trio of AMD X670E ASUS Prime motherboards that are ready to be used for the new AMD socket AM5 platform, including Prime X670E-Pro WiFi, Prime X670-P WiFi and Prime X670-P.
