ASUS is listed as a laptop pioneer with a dual screen concept. Now, ASUS is back in the world of computing by introducing its first foldable PC, the ASUS ZenBook 17 Fold OLED.

Features ASUS ZenBook 17 Fold OLED

ASUS is not the first to introduce a PC with a folding screen. Previously, Lenovo had launched the first folding screen PC, the ThinkPad X1 Fold, at CES 2020.

Conceptually it is very similar. However, the ASUS ZenBook 17 Fold OLED managed to steal the show with its larger folding screen panel size. The specifications are also more powerful.

The ASUS ZenBook 17 Fold OLED features a 17-inch flexible OLED display panel with an aspect ratio of 4:3. The resolution is 2560 x 1920 pixels. When the screen hinge is bent the user will get two 12.5-inch displays with 3:2 aspect ratios each. This display panel supports DCI-P3 100% color coverage.

Carrying a flexible folding screen, the ASUS ZenBook 17 Fold OLED can be used as a tablet, laptop, or like a desktop with the addition of a wireless mouse and keyboard.

To support productivity, ASUS also equips it with a keyboard equipped with a touchpad called ASUS ErgoSense Bluetooth. This keyboard can be mounted above the screen for use in laptop mode when the screen is bent. To make it easier for ASUS users to present the ScreenXpert 2 application. This application can help to share the display on the screen and set the content you want to display in various usage modes.

Entering the kitchen, the ASUS ZenBook 17 Fold OLED is powered by a 12th generation Intel Core processor, Intel Core i7-1250U, with an Intel Iris Xe graphics chip. The amount of RAM it carries is 16GB LPDDR5 and there is a PCIe x4 SSD storage space with a capacity of 1TB.
