Content creators. Yes! This one word is now very popular everywhere. The COVID 19 pandemic, which is starting to slowly pass, has created a new segment of users, those who are passionate about creating content, aka content creators.

As is well known, the pandemic has forced people to work from home, regardless of their previous type of profession, making them have to be productive and creative. Moreover, those who previously worked as photographers, designers, video editors, creative directors and so on, they no longer work in offices.

Working at home or in a café, with a powerful desktop PC, or with a powerful laptop is a must. On the other hand, Tiktok, Instagram Reels, not to mention YouTube Shorts are also getting crazier in popularity. Everyone who holds a smartphone is now a content creator.

However, for those who want to be serious, of course, they need a work device that is also no joke. This is the reason why ASUS presents so many laptops in the Creator Series line, one of which is the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602, which is also available in the market.

Equipped with ASUS Physical Dial for More Productivity

ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 is one of the laptops included in the Creator Series line from the Zenbook segment and has been marketed by ASUS in the market. In the same segment, ASUS also has the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED UX8402.

If the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED UX8402 has two screens and there is an ASUS Control Center feature via ASUS ScreenPad Plus which can be used by creators based on Adobe Creative Suite, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 takes a different approach.

Yes! Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 was designed by ASUS by offering ASUS Dial in a physical form which is very useful for Adobe software users. ASUS Dial itself was previously present in a number of ASUS Creator Series laptop products, but in the form of soft touch.

The difference is that the ASUS Dial, which previously came in the form of a soft touch, can be turned on and off in the touchpad area. Meanwhile, the ASUS Dial that was loaded by ASUS into the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 is in physical form and placed outside the touchpad.

When working with Adobe software such as Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom and so on, Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 users can do editing and adjustments using the physical ASUS Dial knob available in the palmrest area.

With ASUS Dial, users can work more easily without having to use keyboard shortcuts or move the mouse cursor a lot. Choosing a color, adjusting the opacity, changing the brush size and so on, you don’t need to click, just rotate the dial until you find the right setting.

    Maximum Performance for Creators

When working and after completing a project or rendering, users certainly need a powerful working device. For this reason, ASUS also includes a hardware configuration that is more than sufficient for the work of a content creator.

Call it, for the kitchen spur sector, ASUS does not plug in a high-class CPU. Inside the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 body, ASUS has embedded an Intel Core i9-12900H. Yes! H Series processor, which is the same as that found in most gaming laptops from ASUS.

For those of you who don’t know, the Intel Core i9-12900H, which offers 6 performance cores and 8 efficient cores, is capable of running 20 threads at one time. With a large cache size of 24 MB and turbo speed that can penetrate 5 GHz. Obviously, this is the fastest processor.

The Intel Core i9-12900H also doesn’t work alone in the body of the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602. Such a fast processor is accompanied by 32 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM and data storage, aka storage based on M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 Performance SSD with a capacity of 2 TB.

Complementing a fast and spacious processor, RAM and data storage, ASUS has also embedded a graphics chip, aka GPU, which is very adequate for the needs of content creators. Yes! Inside the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602, ASUS has embedded NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3060.

Interestingly, the NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3060 graphics chip embedded by ASUS in this laptop has a TGP of up to 95W and 6 GB of GDDR6 VRAM which is of course very useful for users, especially during the editing and rendering process.

Not only from the hardware side, ASUS also combines the NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3060 graphics chip with the NVIDIA GeForce Studio Driver which is more suitable for use by users in the intended segment. That is, the combination is very solid for content creators.

If you look at embedded hardware support, especially in terms of CPU performance, there is no need to doubt it. The 14-core processor with 20 threads embedded in this laptop is capable of running productive applications, especially applications that can take advantage of multi-cores.

How about the graphics performance? Even though it’s from the Zenbook series, because this laptop is intended for content creators, the graphics installed on this laptop are quite capable. It’s proven that when the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 runs heavy graphics applications, the performance results look very good.

Likewise from the storage sector loaded by ASUS into this laptop. M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD based offers very high read and write speed. The 2 TB SSD offers over 7000 MBps read speed and over 5000 MBps write speed.

    Maximum Design and Cooling

It’s no joke, the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED developed by ASUS for content creators uses high-performance components. For this reason, an effective cooling system is also needed to achieve maximum potential. For that, ASUS presents the best cooling in this laptop. It starts with the ASUS IceCool Pro cooling system which uses two silent IceBlades fans. Each fan has 97 curved 3D blades. The two fans are capable of cooling the 3D vapor chamber and 5mm heat pipes for the CPU and GPU.

This cooling system is also able to efficiently circulate hot air to the exterior through the new AAS Ultra mechanism which lifts the keyboard up to 14.5mm when in use and is able to deliver 30% more airflow than before.

As a result, the CPU and GPU can run up to a combined TDP of 140W in Performance mode, and can run quieter than 40 dB in Standard mode. Evidently, when running a stability test, the results reached 99% from a minimum of 97% as a condition for passing the Stress Test.

    Perfect Screen with ASUS OLED

As mentioned many times above, ASUS designed the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 to support the needs of content creators. For this reason, ASUS has equipped this laptop with the best display panel, namely the ASUS OLED screen.

As the name implies, Zenbook Pro 16X, the screen used is an OLED panel with a size of 16 inches. Having a screen size like that, of course, this is ideal for use by professional content creators. Not too small like a 14-inch screen, and not too big like a 17-inch screen.

Interestingly, this screen also offers a wider aspect ratio of 16:10 compared to screens that have an aspect ratio of 16:9. Additional space at the top and bottom of the screen allows users to more freely place tools, previews and others in the workspace area.

The screen resolution used is not canned. ASUS uses a 4K 3840 x 2400 resolution panel which is also a touch screen and supports a stylus. The OLED screen panel itself also supports a very fast response time, which is 0.2 milliseconds with a refresh rate of 60Hz.

In addition, this screen also has an HDR brightness level of up to 550 nits. As for color accuracy, ASUS has equipped it with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA Certified Display HDR True Black 500, PANTONE Validated with 1.07 billion colors that can be displayed.

Of course, with such perfect screen support, Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 users can ensure that whatever they need, will be displayed accurately on the screen and will match the results when it is finished into the final product.

    Conclusion

Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 is not intended for everyone who has different needs for a computing device. But it’s undeniable, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 provides everything that serious content creators crave.

Starting from the highest performance, the best screen and also the maximum quality screen will make it very easy for users to create content. This laptop is even more perfect with the presence of the physical ASUS Dial. Yes! Adobe Creative Cloud users will be even more spoiled. Trust me.
