Premium wireless or TWS earbuds from Bang & Olufsen add up. The latest product is Beoplay EX which comes with an update in the design sector to make it more comfortable to use.

Features of Beoplay EX

According to Bang & Olufsen, the convenience factor is the most received complaint from previous Beoplay EQ users . It is this factor that prompted Bang & Olufsen to present Beoplay EX with a new design.

Beoplay EX now comes with a design similar to AirPods. The diaphragm is made bigger. That way it can load drivers with a size of 9.2 mm. Bigger than the Beoplay EQ driver which only measures 6.8 mm.

Meanwhile, the in-ear parts that enter the ear canal are made slimmer. Supported by a variety of ear-tip size options, Beoplay EX will fit better into various sizes of ear canals. This new design is claimed to be more comfortable when used. In addition, the design has also been reinforced with a Corning Gorilla coating and is waterproof to the IP57 standard.

The update then propagates to its protective case. The Beoplay EX protective case is made even more compact. So, it will be easier to carry around. This protective case supports the wireless charging feature with the Qi Wireless standard or via a USB-C cable.

For connectivity, Beoplay EX relies on a Bluetooth connection. With the presence of Qualcomm Adaptive aptX technology, these wireless earbuds will support audio streaming at high resolution. Like Beoplay EQ in Beoplay EX, you can still find support for active noise cancellation or ANC (Active Noise Canceling).

For battery life, Beoplay EX can be used for up to about 6 hours by activating the ANC feature. Without ANC the battery can be up to about 8 hours. With the help of the protective case, users can get an additional usage time of up to about 20 hours. So, the total time to use Beoplay EX can be up to 28 hours.

Price Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EX

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EX is available in three color options, namely Anthracite Oxygen, Gold tone and Black Anthracite. The price of Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EX is US $399.
