Soundform Connect has the same functionality as Chromecast Audio from Google. As different audio adapters, both are in the ecosystem they support. Chromecast Audio supports the Google ecosystem and Soundform Connect is designed to support the Apple ecosystem. This means, Soundform Connect can connect to almost any Apple device from iPhone, iPad, Mac to Apple TV.
The main feature of Belkin Soundform Connect is AirPlay 2 support. By connecting this device to the speaker the user can instantly stream audio from all Apple devices. It is even possible for users to stream audio at resolutions up to 16-bit, 44,100 Hz (44.1 kHz). Soundform Connect also supports voice commands via the help of the Siri virtual assistant. In addition, this device is also supported by the Multi-Room Audio feature. Through this feature, users can control all audio devices from one device only.
One interesting feature of Soundform Connect is its connectivity. In addition to carrying a 3.5mm output, Belkin also provides an optical output. Chromecast Audio is not equipped with this optical output. So, it is possible for the user to connect to all stereo speaker sets.
