Bowers & Wilkins introduces its newest headphones, the Px8. This audio device comes with a slightly different design from its predecessor, the Px7 S2 , and is supported with new 40mm drivers. What’s the change like?

Features of Bowers & Wilkins Px8

Bowers & Wilkins Px8 is a flagship headphone with a premium appearance that is claimed to have the best sound quality in its class. The design language is still similar to its predecessor, however, there are slight changes in some parts.

The arm construction is made of aluminum, while the memory foam cushion covers the inside of the earcups. Even more interesting, the pads are wrapped in Nappa leather which is available in Black or Brown color options.

According to Bowers & Wilkins , the Px8 still relies on the same Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology as the Px7 S2. This feature is supported by 6 microphones consisting of two microphones as monitor output drivers, two for ambient noise, and two for voice. The two microphones for voice are positioned closer to each other and the angle has been adjusted to improve call quality and reduce wind.

From the power sector, the battery on Bowers & Wilkins Px8 is claimed to last up to 30 hours. Unfortunately it is not clear whether the duration is valid when ANC is on or off. Charging is also quite fast. Charging for 15 minutes can listen to music for 7 hours.
