According to Canon, for decades the 300mm F/2.8 telephoto lens has been the industry standard for photojournalists, professionals and photography enthusiasts. This lens is popular for its sharp images, very fast in indoor lighting conditions and relatively light when used without the aid of a tripod.
With a focal distance of 100-300mm, this lens is very flexible. Combining the design of a zoom lens and the quality of the 300mm F2.8 L-series telephoto lens, the RF100-300mm F2.8 L IS USM does stand out among other Canon RF zoom telephoto lenses.
If you are not satisfied with the focal distance, the user can even install RF1.4x and 2x teleconverter accessories. With these accessories the focal distance can be increased up to 600mm. One added value that makes it superior to the RF70-200 F2.8 L lens.

This lens is indeed very premium. We are quite impressed that Canon has finally presented a telephoto zoom lens with a very flexible F/2.8 aperture. With a focal distance of 100-300mm, it will make it easier to shoot from a distance without the hassle of changing and carrying lots of heavy telephoto lenses.
