Last year, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano managed to become the lightest in the ThinkPad line. Maintaining these advantages, Lenovo is now releasing its second generation, the ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen.

Features of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen

The most important update of the ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen is in the kitchen runway. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen is now powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor. Processor options available are up to Intel Core i7-1280P supporting 28-watt TDP. So, the performance is more powerful than the 11th Generation Intel Core i7 processor used in the first generation. With these specifications, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen remains compliant with the EVO standard from Intel and gets vPro certification.

The processor is supported by a maximum amount of RAM up to 32GB. Storage space used with a PCIe SSD. Choice of capacities up to 2TB. Bigger than the previous generation which is only 1TB.

Like the first generation, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen brings a 13-inch 16:10 display panel. The display panel is available with 2K display options and supports touch input with AOFT technology.

For other features of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen, there is support for the Communication bar which brings a Full HD and IR camera complete with a cover to protect privacy. There is also an artificial intelligence-based security system and support for Dolby Voice technology to minimize noise from the surrounding environment during video conferencing.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen is planned to be available in April 2022. Prices for the ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen start at US$1659.
