OPPO has announced that the implementation of ColorOS 13 is the fastest compared to the previous OPPO operating system. In its latest policy update, OPPO also plans to present four Android updates and security patches over the next five years starting in 2023 for certain smartphone models.
ColorOS 13 is the latest Android-based operating system from OPPO. With an Aquamorphic Design, ColorOS 13 has various advanced features such as Smart AOD, Multi-Screen Connect, and Home Screen Management which provide a smarter and user-friendly smartphone experience for global users.
Since its launch on August 18 2022, ColorOS 13 has been implemented on 33 OPPO smartphone models globally. The implementation of ColorOS 13 is the fastest and largest compared to the previous version of the ColorOS operating system.
Within four months after the initial launch of ColorOS 13, more than 50% of OPPO smartphone models have implemented the ColorOS 13 operating system (based on data from 18 August to 18 December 2022) compared to ColorOS 12 (data from 11 October 2021 to 11 February 2022).
There are three times more users who have downloaded the ColorOS 13 operating system globally compared to ColorOS 12 in the same period. Apart from that, OPPO also announced the latest ColorOS update policy.
In this policy update, OPPO continues to maintain its commitment to presenting four ColorOS updates and security patches for the next five years. This will start rolling out in 2023 for select OPPO smartphone devices.
With these updates and security patches, OPPO aims to provide a smartphone experience that is not only smarter and more durable, but also stable for global users through the development of ColorOS technology.
