Garmin introduces its newest smart watch for outdoor activity enthusiasts, namely the Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2). Available in three size options, this smartwatch with multi-band GPS is capable of storing lots of music/song files and maps for offline access.

Epix Pro (Gen 2) is supported by an AMOLED screen complete with the Always-On Display feature. As previously mentioned, there are three size options offered, including 42mm with a 1.2-inch screen, 47mm with a 1.3-inch screen, and the largest is 51mm with a 1.4-inch screen.

For the 47mm model, Garmin claims that the battery life is up to 16 days in smartwatch mode, and 6 days if the user activates the Always-On Display feature. If accompanied by GPS, the battery life is only 42 hours or even 32 hours if the user activates multi-band mode.

For users who like to listen to music while on the move, Garmin has embedded 32 GB of storage which can be used to store favorite songs, download applications, and store maps so they can be accessed offline.

No less interesting, all models are equipped with built-in LED lights for lighting assistance when needed. There is also an Elevate V5 heart rate sensor, EKG function, along with a number of other health features.

Epix Pro (Gen 2) is available in two variants, namely Standard and Sapphire. The latter variant offers higher durability with a Sapphire Crystal plated screen and a titanium bezel.

For those interested, the Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) retails at US$899.99 for the 42mm and 47mm models, and US$999.99 for the 51mm model. Meanwhile, for the Sapphire variant, users are required to spend US$100 more expensive for each model.
