Garmin launched a hybrid smartwatch called the Garmin Instinct Crossover. The difference is, this one device carries military standards.

In a press release, Thursday (9/2), Garmin explained that the Instinct Crossover is a tough watch with a Super-LumiNova coating that can be taken on an adventure, and has been tested with MIL-STD-810 military standards. Apart from being resistant to heat and shock, the Instinct Crossover can also be water-resistant up to a depth of 10 ATM.
Because it is included in the hybrid smartwatch category, the Instinct Crossover has an illuminative analog hand. This device is supported by a dual-display (analog and digital) powered by MIP technology so that it promises to be clearly visible in the sun.
There is also RevoDrive technology which allows calibration and synchronization of the hands and adjusts the time automatically. This smartwatch is also equipped with multi-band GNSS which is claimed to have high accuracy.
Complete health features, such as VO2 Max, Pulse Ox, Fitness Age, Training Status/Load/Effect, HRV Status, and Recovery Time. Users can also choose from more than 30 different sports modes.
Garmin Instinct Crossover comes in 3 different variants: Standard, Solar and Solar Tactical. The tactical solar variant adds tactical features such as luminescent analog hands, night vision compatibility, jumpmaster mode, stealth mode and kill switch.
The battery life is up to 28 days in smartwatch mode. In the Solar and Solar Tactical versions, Garmin added a solar panel that allows charging with sunlight, resulting in up to 70 days of battery life in smartwatch mode or 553 hours in GPS mode.
