Garmin Venu 2 Plus: Smartwatch with Phone Call Feature

Garmin , Tuesday (18/1), announced the presence of its newest smartwatch, the Venu 2 Plus. Still putting forward a complete set of health features, one thing that makes the difference in this generation is the ability to make phone calls.

Features Garmin Venu 2 Plus

In a press release received by Yangsoph , Garmin explained that the Venu 2 Plus can make and receive phone calls with just the press of a button. In addition, users can also use a voice assistant.

For this voice assistant feature, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus is compatible with Siri, Google Assistant, or Bixby. Users can use the voice assistant on their smartwatch to send messages, ask questions, control smart home devices, and much more.

“Garmin is responding to market demand for the addition of a voice detection feature to the new Venu line of smartwatches. For users with active lifestyles, multi-tasking activities become very important. Now Garmin users can answer calls or send messages without reaching into their pockets or purses,” said Dan Bartel, vice president of global consumer sales.

The Venu 2 Plus sports an AMOLED touch screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. This watch measures 43mm with a stainless steel bezel and body. While the watch strap uses silicone material measuring 20mm which is claimed to be comfortable.

From the power sector, the battery on the Venu 2 Plus is claimed to last up to 9 days in smartwatch mode, or 8 hours in GPS + music mode. Charging is also fast. 10 minutes of charging can result in a lifetime of 1 day.

Users who need features that support a healthy lifestyle can take advantage of Pulse Ox technology to monitor oxygen levels, monitor heart rate, monitor sleep quality, stress levels, hydration, Body Battery, and others.

There are more than 25 built-in applications to support indoor sports, and GPS for activities such as walking, running, cycling, and so on. Users can also create customized workout schedules with more than 1,400 workout patterns, complete with more than 75 workout animations for cardio, yoga, strength, HIIT, and Pilates.

Price of Garmin Venu 2 Plus
