At the Google I/O 2022 event , Google introduced its newest TWS named Google Pixel Buds Pro. Not only promises top-notch audio quality, this device carries Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology which is equipped with Silent Seal. What’s that?

Google Pixel Buds Pro Features

Designed as the main competitor of the Apple AirPods Pro, Pixel Buds Pro is supported by ANC with Silent Seal which is claimed to maximize the ability to block outside sounds. Google embed a 6-core audio processor that uses a special algorithm to reduce noise. While the Silent Seal itself can adapt to the contours of the user’s ear so that its noise cancellation capability is more perfect.

Pixel Buds Pro are equipped with custom-designed 11mm drivers, complete with 5-band EQ that allows users to customize their own audio character. Like most of today’s TWS that have ANC, Pixel Buds Pro also has a transparent mode if the user still wants to hear the sound from around him.

Even more interesting, Google claims that its newest product has a pressure sensor that will adjust so that the ear always feels comfortable. Through an update in the near future, Google is also ready to release spatial audio support for the Pixel Buds Pro.

Other available features include a microphone, voice accelerometer, wind block, multipoint connectivity, touch control, Google Assistant support, and an IPX4 waterproof rating on the earbuds and IPX2 for the case.

Regarding the battery, Google promises that it will last up to 7 hours when ANC is active and 11 hours without ANC. Plus the battery in the case, the total usage reaches 20 hours with ANC and 31 hours without ANC. Please note that the casing also supports wireless charging.

Google Pixel Buds Pro Price

For those who are interested, the Google Pixel Buds Pro will be priced at US $199 and are available in several color choices such as Lemongrass, Charcoal, Fog, and Coral. New sales begin around July 2022.
