After the success of Genshin Impact, HoYoverse launched gamers called Honkai: Star Rail. For those who don’t know, this is a space-themed fantasy RPG game that gamers can download for free on various platforms.
Honkai: Star Rail offers a turn-based battle system
There are several things that HoYovers bring back in Honkai: Star Rail. The animation style and character designs are more or less similar to Genshin Impact. Elements such as character leveling to gacha to get certain items are also here.
Even so, the difference is quite a lot. The first is about the battle system. Genshin Impact is more of a hack and slash style, while Honkai: Star Rail actually adopts a turn-based system like old Japanese RPG games. That is, you will take turns with the enemy to attack.
Besides that, the world of Honkai: Star Rail is also not like Genshin Impact, which is more open world and very wide. You can still explore various places, but it’s a bit limited. There will be puzzle solving that makes the adventure more exciting.
This game combines elements of mythology and sci-fi. The journey of chasing the stars pushes each character to start their own story. The companions you meet on your journey through the galaxy have different traits, but also have unique skills.
As the storyline develops, gamers will also touch the mysterious past of the two characters, namely March 7th and Dan Heng, and meet more colleagues such as Kafka, Serval, Jing Yuan and Bailu.
