The chipset from the Mediatek manufacturer is used again for computing devices. The latest news is that HP has released the Chromebook x360 13b which is powered by a MediaTek Kompanio processor.
Features of the HP Chromebook x360 13b
Chromebook x360 13b comes with a thin and light body design. The thickness is only about 17 mm. Meanwhile, it weighs only 1.3 kg. Interestingly, this device is also environmentally friendly. The cover and hinges use recycled metal materials. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the body, the screen frame and speaker cover are made of recycled plastic material.

The touch screen carries a 13.3-inch IPS panel. The resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels and supports a brightness level of 250 nits. Quite adequate for indoor use. Entering the convertible line, the screen hinge can be folded and used in tablet, tent or stand mode.

Its performance is entrusted to the MediaTek Kompanio 1200 processor. The octa-core processor is supported by 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and PCIe NVMe SSD storage space with a capacity of 128GB. Powerful enough to support everyday productivity.
One thing that is quite unfortunate there are not many customization options available. The maximum amount of RAM is only 4GB. However, for storage space there are other options that are larger with a capacity of 256GB. In addition, users can also choose options with a backlit keyboard.

For other features, the Chromebook x360 13b is equipped with a 720p webcam with privacy protection features and stereo speakers. In the connectivity sector, there is a USB Type-A port, two USB Type-C ports, a microSD reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The USB-C port already supports power delivery for recharging laptops and displays for connecting to monitors.
