Premium Business Laptop Duo with Multi Camera Features and 2.5K 120 Hz Screen

Apart from the HP Dragonfly G4 and Dragonfly Pro Chromebook, at CES 2023 HP also released the Elitebook 1040 G10 and Elite x360 1040 G10. These two premium business class laptops bring updates in their specifications and features.

Features of the HP Elitebook 1040 G10 and Elite x360 1040 G10

These two laptops have different concepts. As the name suggests, the Elite x360 is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop with a touch screen. Interestingly, HP provides screen options that are quite complete for both. Including, a 2.5K screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

The HP Elitebook 1040 G10 and Elite x360 1040 G10 will be powered by an Intel Core 13th Gen processor. Carrying the latest generation of Intel Core processors, both promise an increase in performance for productivity of up to around 10% when compared to the previous generation.

There is no graphics card option on this laptop. Instead, HP provides a large enough RAM support option of up to 64GB and SSD storage space of up to 2TB capacity.

The most significant feature update is in the camera sector. The HP Elitebook 1040 G10 and Elite x360 1040 G10 carry a 5 megapixel webcam with the Multi Camera feature. The same features can be found on the Dragonfly G4.

Through this feature, the webcam it carries can be used together with an external USB webcam during video conferencing. That way one camera can be pointed at the face and another camera can be pointed at other objects such as whiteboards or documents.

Then, there is also support for Smart Sense and Intelligent Hibernate features which are useful for optimizing performance and saving battery usage.

Prices for the HP Elitebook 1040 G10 and Elite x360 1040 G10

These two laptops are planned to be available on the market in March 2023. Even so, HP has not divulged the prices for the Elitebook 1040 G10 and Elite x360 1040 G10.
