In addition to announcing the HP Envy x360 13 and 15 2-in-1 laptops , HP also released the Envy 16 and Envy 17 2022. These two premium-class laptops are presented for creators and professionals who are highly mobile.
HP Envy 16
The HP Envy 16 will be powered by a 12th gen Intel Core processor with options up to Intel Core i9-12900H. Most interesting is the graphics card. The HP Envy 16 is one of HP’s first laptops that is supported by the Intel Arc A370M graphics card. Another option is available with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or Intel Iris Xe graphics card.
In the screen sector, the HP Envy 16 will be available with three screen options. Among them use a 4K resolution touch screen OLED panel with a brightness level of 400 nits and a 100% DCI-P3 color standard. The second option is an IPS touchscreen panel with a 2.5K resolution, supports 400 nits brightness, 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB. The last option is the same as the second option but the screen does not support touch features.
HP Envy 17 2022
The HP Envy 17 2022 uses a 17.3-inch screen panel. There are also three screen options with the highest resolution of 4K. However, the Envy 17 does not yet support OLED display panels.
Turning to the kitchen, the HP Envy 17 2022 is powered by an Intel Core 12th Gen processor with options up to Intel Core 17-1260P. Graphics card options are available with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 or Intel Iris Xe.
Like the 2-in-1 HP Envy x360 model, these two laptops also carry an HP True Vision 5MP IR webcam. The webcam supports the Windows Hello feature and disables the camera/microphone feature to protect privacy.
