HP’s Omen gaming laptop line is expanding. Omen Transcend 16 is officially announced with a thin and light body design. This laptop will also be the first HP gaming laptop to carry a Mini-LED display panel.
HP Omen Transcend 16 specifications
Omen Transcend 16 comes with a 16-inch Mini-LED display panel with a resolution of 2.5K 2560 x 1600 pixels. The screen supports a brightness level of up to 1180 nits and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. As for the color, it supports the DCI-P3 color gamut standard 100%.
For the cheaper option, the Omen Transcend 16 will also be available using an IPS panel with two options. First, with a resolution of 2.5K and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. For the second option with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz.
Behind its thin and light body design, the Omen Transcend 16 still carries tight specifications. This laptop is powered by a choice of Intel Core 13th gen processors with options up to Intel i9-13900HX. Meanwhile, the graphics sector is entrusted to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40-series graphics card. Options are up to RTX 4070 with TGP 130W. In addition, it is also available with RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 graphics cards.
