Huawei Announces Three MatePad Tablets with HarmonyOS

Huawei’s operating system, HarmonyOS, has begun to be adopted on the MatePad tablet. There are three models of MatePad tablets that will run the operating system directly, namely the MatePad 11, MatePad Pro (10.8 inches) and MatePad Pro (12.6 inches).

Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 inch

At the top, the Huawei MatePad Pro with a 12.6-inch screen brings an OLED touch screen panel with a resolution of 2K 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display panel supports HDR10, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and accurate colors with the 100% DCI-P3 color gamut standard.

For the kitchen, this tablet is entrusted to the Kirin 9000E chipset which is supported by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The 12.6-inch MatePad Pro has also brought a dual camera with a 13 megapixel sensor and an 8 megapixel ultra wide. The front camera comes with an 8 megapixel sensor.

One thing that is interesting about this tablet is in the audio sector. This tablet carries four microphones with far field features that can pick up sound from all directions and eight Harman Kardon speakers. Another feature, the 12.6-inch MatePad Pro is equipped with a keyboard cover and supports digital input.

For energy intake, Huawei provides it with a 10,000 mAh battery. The battery also supports 40W fast recharge feature and 27W wireless recharge feature.Other articles

Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 inch

The second model, with a cheaper selling price, the 10.8-inch MatePad Pro carries an IPS touch screen panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Another difference is in the chipset. The 10.8-inch MatePad Pro does not use the Huawei Kirin chipset. Instead, Huawei installed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The battery it carries is also smaller at 7250 mAh. For RAM, internal memory and camera configuration the same as the 12.6-inch MatePad Pro.

Huawei MatePad 11

Finally, the cheapest is the MatePad 11. This tablet PC comes with an 11-inch IPS touch screen panel with a resolution of 2K 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display panel supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the DCI-P3 color standard is 100%.

Huawei MatePad 11 specifications rely on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset. It supports up to 6GB of RAM and available internal memory with a capacity of up to 128GB. If not, there is still a microSD slot available to increase the capacity of the storage space.

For the camera, the MatePad 11 has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The tablet is powered by a 7250 mAh battery and supports 22.5W battery charging via the USB-C port. Other features The MatePad 11 brings four speakers, as well as an optional keyboard and stylus pen.

Price of MatePad Pro 12.6 inch, MatePad Pro 10.8 inch and MatePad 11

The 12.6-inch MatePad Pro starts at $780, the 10.8-inch MatePad Pro starts at $595 and the MatePad 11 starts at $485. All three will be available on the Chinese market first starting in June 2021.
