The 8th generation of Huawei’s fitness bracelet is officially announced. Huawei Band 8 now comes with design updates and features that are more sophisticated than the previous generation.
Huawei Band 8 specifications
Band 8 now comes with a body design that looks more boxy. Both sides of the body are made flat. Unlike Band 6 and Band 7 , both sides of the body are slightly rounded.
However, the screen used is still the same. Band 8 still uses a 1.47-inch OLED touch screen panel with a resolution of 194 x 369 pixels. Another advantage is the lighter body design. Band 8 weighs only about 14 grams. 2 grams lighter than the previous Band 7 which was around 16 grams. The lightest in Huawei’s fitness band line. So, Band 8 will be more comfortable to use for daily activities or sports.

To complete your style, the Band 8 features a silicone strap in four new color options. Among them pink, orange, emerald green and black. Another option is a fabric strap with a combination of orange and black. Various watch face options are also available and can be chosen according to taste.

Then what about the features? Band 8 now adopts the latest tracking technology from Huawei’s smartwatch. For example, TruSeen 5.0 to monitor heart rate, SpO2 sensor to monitor blood oxygen levels and TrueSleep 3.0 to monitor sleep patterns. This fitness bracelet is also equipped with the TruSport feature which offers more than 100 types of sports activities.
In the battery sector, Band 8 carries a battery with a capacity of 180 mAh. Battery life can be up to about 14 days for a single charge.
