The Huawei Watch GT smartwatch collection is growing. The latest variant is the Huawei Watch GT Runner. Unlike the Huawei Watch GT 3 which adheres to an elegant style, the Watch GT Runner appears with a more sporty style.

Features of Huawei Watch GT Runner

The design is a little different. Can be seen in the lug which is now made together. However, the characteristics of the Huawei Watch GT 3 with the crown button at the 2 o’clock position are maintained. Another difference is in the body material.

Designed for sports Watch GT Runner comes with a polymer body material. It’s tougher and lighter at the same time. So, it will be more comfortable to use during sports activities. It weighs only about 38.5 grams. It is lighter than the Huawei Watch GT 3. In addition, the body design is water resistant to the 5ATM standard.

With 46mm dimensions, the Watch GT Runner carries a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen. This smartwatch runs the HarmonyOS operating system, complete with support for over 100 sport modes. Huawei Watch GT Runner also brings support for Huawei TruSeen 5.0 optical heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor for monitoring blood oxygen levels, and fitness monitoring capabilities and sleep patterns.

The Huawei Watch GT Runner feature update is in the antenna module. According to Huawei, the Huawei Watch GT Runner brings an antenna module with 135% better position tracking capabilities. The antenna supports the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) system which includes GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS and GPS systems.

Other Huawei Watch GT Runner features include NFC, Bluetooth, built-in microphone and speaker support. So, when connected to a smartphone, this smartwatch can be used to answer incoming calls.

The battery life is still the same as other Huawei smartwatches. A single charge of the Huawei Watch GT Runner battery offers up to 14 days of use and up to 7 days of intense use.

Huawei Watch GT Runner Price

There is no information on when the Huawei Watch GT Runner will be available in Indonesia. In its home country, China, the price of the Huawei Watch GT Runner is US$343.
