Through an event titled Intel Innovation in San Francisco (27/10), Intel announced the presence of the 12th generation Intel Core processor line . From a series of new processors introduced, the Intel Core i9-12900K is the main star and is claimed to be the best gaming processor in the world. Like what?
Intel Core i9-12900K
The Core i9-12900K is a 16-core 24-threads processor with a maximum turbo boost of up to 5.2GHz. Its multi-threaded performance promises to be able to set a new standard for enthusiast gamers and professional creators.
This processor promises 25 percent higher FPS in Troy: A Total War Saga, 28 percent higher FPS in Hitman 3, and up to 23 percent higher in Far Cry 6. Supported by Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E, the latency will be 75 percent lower when playing games.
Please note that the 12th generation Intel Core processor line already carries the Intel 7 (10nm) fabrication. These processors consist of P-cores or Performance-cores for heavy work, and E-cores or Efficient-cores for more power-efficient performance.
Socket LGA1700
Intel 12th generation processors can later be paired to new platforms with socket LGA1700 and Intel 600 Series chipsets. In addition to the Core i9-12900K, there are also 5 other processors, namely Core i9-12900KF, Core i7-12700K, Core i7-12700KF, Core i5-12600K, and Core i5-12600KF.

Several other important points mention, the 12th generation called Alder Lake is claimed to be the first processor in the industry to offer DDR5 memory up to 4800 MT/s, PCIe 5.0, and up to 30MB Intel Smart Cache (L3) and 14MB L2 cache.
Intel Core 12th Gen price and availability
The 12th generation Intel Core processor lineup is scheduled to launch on November 4, 2021. For those interested, prices start at US$264.
