Features of Lenovo Legion 7 and 7i 2022
The Legion 7 and 7i 2022 still retain Legion’s signature design DNA. The body material is aluminum and magnesium. A touch of renewal can be seen behind the body. The air vent design is now enlarged. The display hinge has also received an update. Not only that, Lenovo also added an RGB lighting system in the air ventilation holes and the Legion badge.
Claimed to be the fastest, the performance is entrusted to the AMD Ryzen processor option for Legion 7 and Intel core for Legion 7i. Graphics card options are available up to Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti with TGP 175W. Or, with the AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT supported by 12GB VRAM.
The Legion 7 and 7i 2022 screens use a 16-inch IPS panel of 2560 x 1600 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display panel supports 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, supports brightness levels up to 1250 nits, and refresh rate options up to 240 Hz. The screen is also TUV Rheinland certified.

The highlight of the Lenovo Legion 7 and 7i 2022 is the battery. The Legion 7 and 7i 2022 will be available in a 99.99Wh battery configuration. The largest in the 16-inch gaming laptop class. The battery can be recharged with a 300W charger or using a 135W charger via the USB-C port. This option with a smaller charger size makes it more ideal for mobility. But, keep in mind that all of its potential when gaming can still only be enjoyed using a 300W charger.
The Lenovo Legion 7 and 7i 2022 keyboards are also updated. The Legion TrueStrike keyboard is now supported by WASD Force Sensor Technology with a detachable button option to suit gamers’ needs. Another additional feature of the Lenovo Legion 7 and 7i 2022 is the Tobii Horizon software. This software relies on smart sensor technology to improve system security, privacy and gamer health.

Lenovo Legion 7i 2022 is planned to be available starting in May 2022. Meanwhile, Legion 7 2022 with AMD processors in June 2022. Lenovo Legion 7i 2022 prices start at US$2449 and Legion 7 starts at US$2059. For a thinner and lighter option Lenovo is also launching the Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7i 2022 .
