Lenovo announced the ThinkPad T-Series laptop range for 2023. There are three models available namely the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4, ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 2.
Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 and ThinkPad T14s Gen 4
ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 and ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 come with a 14-inch screen panel with a modern aspect ratio of 16:10. The difference between the two is in the dimensions. The ThinkPad T14s is slimmer with a body thickness of around 16.97mm. Its weight is also lighter starting from 1.24 Kg. Meanwhile, the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 is about 17.9mm thick and weighs from 1.32 Kg.
In the screen sector, the two laptops will be available with the option of an OLED display panel up to 2.8K resolution. The screen supports brightness levels of up to 400 nits, Dolby Vision and the DCI-P3 color coverage standard of 100%. Another option is available with an IPS panel whose resolution is 2.2K or 1920 x 1200 pixels.
Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 2
The ThinkPad T16 Gen 2 comes with a 16-inch 16:10 OLED screen with 4K resolution. The screen supports brightness levels of up to 500 nits, Dolby Vision and 100% sRGB color coverage standard. Other options are also available with an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and an optional touch screen.

In the performance sector, these three laptops will be powered by the 13th Generation Intel or AMD Ryzen Mobile 7000 Series processor options . The ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 and T16 Gen 2 will be available with an Nvidia GeForce MX550 graphics card option. In addition, all three will now also support PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage space with a capacity of up to 2TB and RAM up to 32GB.
Another update is in the camera sector. Lenovo now provides a webcam camera option with a 5 megapixel sensor and IR features. Increased from before using a Full HD webcam camera.
In addition, for the first time the T14 Gen 4 and T16 Gen 2 with AMD Ryzen processors will have USB4 port support. For Intel models there is a Thunderbolt4 port.
Prices for Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4, ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 2
The ThinkPad T14 Gen 4, ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 2 are planned to be available in July 2023. The price for the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 starts at 1345 Euros, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 starts at 1590 Euros and the ThinkPad T16 G2 starts at 1390 Euros.
