Lenovo is back with the ThinkPad X1 Extreme update. Entering its fifth generation, this tough business laptop is claimed to be the fastest ThinkPad X1 variant.

Features of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 comes with a compact body design. The thickness is about 17.9mm. Meanwhile, the weight starts from 1.88 kg. It also looks premium. The cover is made of solid black carbon fiber material, which is still the same as the previous generation .

Claimed to be the fastest, the performance of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 is now entrusted to the 12th Generation Intel processor. The highest variant uses an Intel Core i9 processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card.

Lenovo also still maintains a 16-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The difference is, the options are now more complete. Users will be presented with the option of a refresh rate of up to 16Hz, touch features, 100% sRGB to UHD + screen resolution. It’s a shame that Lenovo has not provided an option with an OLED display panel.
