LG is raising the bar for cinema screens. Through Miraclass, in the future, cinema screens can now display images directly and no longer need to use a projector.

Features of LG Miraclass

Miraclass is an innovative cinema-grade LED panel developed by LG . These LED panels are available in various sizes. So, it can be adjusted to the size of the room and needs.

The available options range from 5.1 x 2.7 meters or 14 square meters, 10.2 x 5.4 meters or 55 square meters and the largest is 14.1 x 7.2 meters or 101 square meters. The screen resolution is available with the option of 2K 2048 x 1080 pixels or 4K 4096 x 2160 pixels.

All Miraclass LED panels are capable of providing 24-bit color, supporting the DCI-P3 color gamut standard and 68.7 million different color combinations. The maximum supported screen brightness level is 300 nits. The brightness level settings can be adjusted to five levels starting from as low as 48 nits. In addition, this panel also supports 3D content.

According to LG, the Miraclass series of LED panels also offer easier setup. The reason is, this panel already supports all Dolby standards. Starting from Dolby IMS to support stable and professional content operation and Dolby Atmos to present an audio experience with a more immersive sound system.

Availability of LG Miraclass

Miraclass LED panels have now begun to be adopted in several cinemas. One of them is Odeon Multicines in Vilanova, Spain. Following other Odeon cinemas in the city of Madrid and Barcelona.
