AstroPad officially announced the availability of Luna Display 5.0. Unlike the original version which is only compatible for MacBook and iMac, this latest version will now also support Windows PCs. That way, PC or laptop users with the Windows operating system can make their iPad as a second screen.

Features of Luna Display 5.0

Luna Display 5.0 is a development of Project Blue which was launched by Astropad in early 2021. Through Project Blue it is possible for users to share their Windows-based PC screen to an iPad as a tablet for drawing.

Now, with Luna Display 5.0 the iPad will fully support as a second screen for Windows PCs. Not only that, Luna Display 5.0 will also be compatible with Mac devices from MacBook, iMac and Mac Mini.

To use it, users only need to plug Luna Display into a PC. Astropad provides three Luna Display models with a choice of USB-C, HDMI, or Mini DisplayPort connectivity. Then, after connecting via WiFi connectivity, your iPad can immediately function as a second screen.

When used as a second screen, users can also use all the features of the iPad. Such as interactive touch screen, external keyboard support and Apple Pencil. For Mac Mini users, Luna Display can also be directly used as a monitor for Mac Mini without the need to use a monitor.

Another Luna Display 5.0 update is faster setup support for Mac devices with Apple M1 processors.

Price Luna Display 5.0

Luna Display 5.0 is now available via the astropad.com site . Price Luna Display 5.0 US$129.99.
