Audio manufacturer Marshall announced a trio of Acton III, Stanmore III and Woburn III Bluetooth speakers. These three Bluetooth speakers bring improvements in the sound sector to compete with soundbars.
Features Marshall Acton III, Stanmore III and Woburn III
According to Marshall, the third update is in the positioning of the tweeter. All three are equipped with a face-up tweeter. Replaces the previous position facing forward. As a result, the staging effect can feel wider and the sound distribution is claimed to be more evenly distributed throughout the room. The connectivity sector is also updated. All three now carry Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity which is more power efficient.
Of the three Marshall Acton III comes with the smallest size. This speaker carries two 15 W tweeters and a 30 W woofer. The current size is the Stanmore III. The woofer it carries is 50 W larger with the same 15 W tweeter as the Acton III.
Finally, the largest size is Woburn III. This speaker is the most powerful. The configuration consists of a 90 W woofer, two 15 W mids and two 15 W tweeters.

Even though they are positioned as speakers for listening to music, with these specifications it is not impossible that these three speakers can be relied on as a substitute for a soundbar for watching movies. Moreover, Marshall also completes it with additional features such as Placement Compensation and Dynamic Loudness.
The Placement Compensation feature is useful for correcting the sound output if the speaker is placed in an area or surface that can reflect sound. Meanwhile, Dynamic Loudness is useful for ensuring sound output remains prime at all volume settings.
