The manufacturer Meike announced the presence of the MK-EFTR-C adapter. Thanks to this adapter, users of the EOS R full frame mirrorless camera are now able to use lenses in the EF lens ecosystem.
Features of Meike MK-EFTR-C
Meike MK-EFTR-C comes with metal material. The design is very sturdy with a weight of about 138 grams. Slightly heavier than Canon’s standard EF-RF lens adapter which weighs around 121 grams.
Meike has also equipped this adapter with electronic contacts. So, users can still enjoy the autofocus feature and get EXIF data information on the lens. In addition, when attached to the Canon EOS R body, users can still take advantage of the stabilizer feature to stabilize shooting and adjust aperture.

Another unique feature of the Meike MK-EFTR-C adapter is the Drop-in filter feature. Unlike regular filters, drop in filters are installed between the camera sensor and the lens. This method will be more practical because it makes it easier for photographers and videographers to use various lenses with the same filter size. There is no need to carry many filters of different sizes like general lens filters which are mounted in front of the lens. In the purchase package, Meike has also immediately equipped this mount with a CPL lens.
Price Meike MK-EFTR-C
The Meike MK-EFTR-C is already available via the Meike website . The price of the Meike MK-EFTR-C is US$150. Drop-in filters can also be purchased separately with prices starting at US$32.
