OLED display panels are starting to be adopted into gaming laptops. Overtaking its competitors MSI announced the Raider GE67 HX which comes with an OLED display panel and fast performance relying on a 12th Gen Intel Core processor.

MSI is not the first to use OLED display panels in gaming laptops. Previously, Razer had previously announced the Razer Blade 15 2022 which is available with an OLED panel option. Even so, MSI will be the first to sell a gaming laptop with an OLED panel. The reason is, the availability of the Razer Blade 15 2022 on the market is planned in the fourth quarter of this year.
MSI Raider GE67 HX comes with a 15.6-inch OLED display panel with a resolution of 2K 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Raider GE67 HX is the world’s first gaming laptop to feature an OLED display with a high refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of less than 0.2 milliseconds. The display panel also supports a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and is certified DisplayHDR 600 True Black.
Performance is also very fast. This laptop will be available with processor options up to Intel Core i9-12900HX. Graphics card options available up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080Ti. In the RAM sector, there are two DDR5-4800 RAM slots that can accommodate up to a maximum of 64GB of RAM. Meanwhile, there are two M.2 SSD NVMe PCIe Gen4 slots for storage. Not to forget, OverBoost technology support is also presented to maximize CPU and GPU performance up to 250W.
