Almost all mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and cameras support the fast recharge feature. For this reason, the accessories manufacturer from China, Novoo, announced the RG67 charger which is very compact and supports super fast charging.

    Novoo RG67 specifications

According to Novoo’s claims, the RG67 is the world’s first 67W SuperVooc charger with GaN technology. GaN or Gallium Nitride is a silicon replacement material that is commonly used in chargers. The advantage of this GaN material is that it can generate less heat. This means that manufacturers can design chargers with smaller sizes.

As for the body design, besides the tiny dimensions, the RG67 is also tough. The surface of the body is dirt resistant with fingerprints. This device is also added with a series of sensors. Including, temperature sensor and protection to avoid power short or overvoltage.

The RG67 has two ports, namely USB-A and USB-C ports. The USB-A port supports a maximum output of up to 50W. This port complies with the SuperVOOC 2.0 standard with a power output of up to 10V and 6.5 A. Meanwhile, the USB-C port it carries supports a maximum output of up to 67W which meets the USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 standard with an output of 20 V and 3.35A.

So, it can be used on a variety of devices. Starting from smartphones, laptops, tablets to game consoles like Nintendo Switch. As an illustration, the RG67 charger can be used to recharge the 13-inch MacBook battery in only about two hours.

The two ports can also be used together to charge two devices at once. If both ports are used, the power output that can be streamed is 18W on the Type-A port and 45W on the Type-C port.

    Novoo RG67 price

The RG67 is currently available in black. There are two plug options available, namely American and European standards. For the price of the Novoo RG67 US$31.99. It could be a cheaper alternative to the 726 Charger from Anker’s Nano Nano II Series 65W line.
