The latest flagship smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset is back in China. Is the latest X-series from nubi that comes with the call nubia Z50. Not supplied with a more powerful chipset, this smartphone also has a 35mm equivalent main camera.

For the display sector, the nubia Z50 comes with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen. The screen resolution is FHD + with a refresh rate of 144Hz. There is also a punch-hole in the middle of the top of the screen which will house the 16 MP front camera.

nubia equips its new smartphone with stereo speakers tuned with DTS:X Ultra and Snapdragon Sound. The main camera is 64 MP with the IMX787 sensor from Sony. Since it has a 35mm equivalent lens, it should be suitable for portrait shots.

The main camera also has OIS support. Meanwhile, the second camera on the back of the device is a 50 MP ultra-wide lens (14mm equivalent) with autofocus which also functions as a macro camera. Yes! nubia Z50 only has two cameras on the back.

Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage with UFS 4.0 technology. This smartphone runs on the MyOS 13 interface based on Android 13.

Now! For power supply support, the nubia Z50 has been equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging. This smartphone comes in Black, White and Green colors. Present for the first time in China, this smartphone will openly be marketed on December 23, 2022.

nubia Z50 with the initial trim level, namely 8GB/128GB will be marketed at CNY 2,999. The other variants are 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, which retail for CNY 3,699 and CNY 3,999 respectively.

For consumers who are interested in the highest variant of the Nubia Z50, namely 16 GB of RAM with 1 TB of internal storage, this smartphone is marketed at CNY 5999. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on when this flagship smartphone will be marketed by nubia outside of China.
